The Man Behind Your Daily Metal
Your Daily Metal is curated by Edwin Valent — a lifelong metal fan, former frontman of Dutch hardcore metal band Short Fused, and one of the longest-serving metal presenters in Dutch broadcasting.
Over the past three decades, Edwin hosted influential radio and television shows including VPRO Bruut!, Headbangers Ball NL, MTV Rockzone, 22tracks and KINK Metallurgy (more info here), interviewing artists from across the heavy music scene while introducing listeners to both established icons and rising talent.
Your Daily Metal brings that same philosophy to Spotify: independent playlist curation driven by passion, experience and a genuine love for discovering great music.
